About The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Consultant based in Peoria, IL. The Sales Consultant is responsible for expanding business within an assigned territory. This is done by developing and implementing sales strategies within an existing client base, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, and communicating how partnering with Philippi-Hagenbuch will result in significant return on investment. This opportunity represents tremendous professional growth potential for the candidate who possesses strong skills in forging new business relationships, the propensity to foster long-term working relationships, and the ability to formulate solutions to industry challenges.

• Position self and Philippi-Hagenbuch as strategic business partner.
• Able to adapt interpersonal style to effectively influence individuals of varying backgrounds and at all levels of the customer company.
• Identifies and cultivates strong working relationships with key influential members in customer company.
• Coordinate effectively with all internal functional areas of Philippi-Hagenbuch to ensure exemplary customer service is provided.
• Manage expectation of customers throughout the sales process, taking into consideration customer needs, budget constraints, desired time frames, etc.
• Research customers' needs and prepare for presentation tailored to those needs.
• Influence perceived value by presenting solutions that differentiate Philippi-Hagenbuch from competitors.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for products/solutions that Philippi-Hagenbuch can provide for customers.
• Attend trade shows where you’ll meet with your customers and your colleagues while forging new relationships and presenting the strengths of PHIL's haul truck enhancements to various industry associations and organizations.

The Requirements for this Role
Our ideal candidate will have these attributes:
• Excellent phone skills.
• At least 5 years experience in a quota-driven sales position.
• A current working knowledge of general construction equipment, heavy equipment, mining equipment and off-highway haul trucks that perhaps was gained in a retail-selling environment with an equipment manufacturer, distributor or through rental sales is preferred, but not required.
• You have the ability to meet or exceed goals without ever sacrificing integrity.
• You are a natural at developing and maintaining honest customer relationships remotely. To be successful at this role, your interest must not lie strictly with making the sale but in real, honest relationship building with your customers. If we ask them about you, we want them to call you a friend.
• Excellent prospecting and new business development skills, plus a proven ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
• Ability to work well in a close-knit team environment.
• You are entrepreneurial by nature and one of your key strengths is your ability to manage your territory in a way that you can achieve the goals developed jointly between yourself and management.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Work from PHIL corporate office in Peoria.

Social Media Specialist

We are searching for a self-motivated marketing professional to oversee our social media initiatives within the marketing department and to support the PHIL Sales Department.

The ideal candidate will have proven success in social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Delicious, and blogging) and marketing multiple products over a range of industries, including mining, quarries, power plants, landfills, and steel mills. An educational background in English and marketing is preferred, as the successful candidate will also be responsible for keeping our website updated as well as writing copy for our advertisements and white papers.

Out of the box thinking and a can-do attitude will be needed to take on the responsibilities and challenges of this position.
