Designed with the unique constraints of a steel mill in mind, PHIL Rear Eject Scrap Bodies are sized based on the capacity of the charge bucket or other needs as requested by the end user and are available for Articulated or Rigid Frame off-highway trucks.  PHIL Rear Eject Scrap Bodies assist the mini-mill in reducing Tap-to-Tap times with the ability to fill the charge buckets with layered material which results in less maintenance on the charge bucket, and loads that melt quicker.

With dumping times typically better than rear dump trucks, our Rear Eject Body outperforms all other units by forcibly ejecting all materials, even the stickiest, and reduces carryback, all without raising the truck bed. Our ejector system increases truck stability with a lower load center, allowing trucks to dump in conditions where standard dump trucks would be unstable and unsafe. Dump on downhill slopes, side slopes, and softer underfoot conditions with confidence.

With its easy in-cab controlled operation, our Rear Eject Body spreads material as it ejects, reducing dozing and spreading workloads. The ejector body employs exclusive ejector guides – no rollers – for fast, smooth, low maintenance ejector operation. Its unique flat floor provides complete material shedding extending floor life.

Designed with a simple hydraulic system, one hydraulic cylinder controls the ejector and tailgate offering the fastest stationary or on-the-go dumping, reducing total haul cycle times. And our Rear Eject Body has only one lubrication point that needs greasing just once a year – no other regular maintenance required.

PHIL Rear Eject Bodies fit all makes/models of articulated trucks and are suitable for some rigid frame trucks.

	Rear Eject Body Installation PHIL Supervised Installation for Rear Eject Bodies is required in an effort to ensure proper commissioning of the equipment.  Two options for Rear Eject Body Installation are available: 1. FIELD INSTALLATION WITH SUPERVISORY ASSISTANCE: PHIL will provide a working supervisor to assist in commissioning the PHIL Rear Eject Body for a nominal charge.  This installation supervisory assistance is available with a minimum of sixteen (16) days notice.  Installation time may vary depending upon field conditions. PHIL Rear Eject Body Field Installation Requirements: PHIL Rear Eject Body shipped assembled, along with miscellaneous small parts. Mounting of body to truck chassis. Mounting of hydraulic manifold to truck chassis. Connect plumbing from truck hydraulic system to hydraulic manifold and rear eject body cylinder. Test, validate, and adjust PHIL Rear Eject Body as needed for proper operation. Customer Supplied: Location for hydraulic manifold return to hydraulic tank line to plumb into hydraulic tank. Hydraulic hoses and fittings from truck hydraulic sources to hydraulic manifold/valve. Hydraulic hoses from hydraulic manifold to rear eject body cylinder. Two (2) service technicians, with welding experience. Welding equipment as necessary. Lifting equipment. Miscellaneous hand tools, pry bars, etc. O.E.M. body pads, pivot pins, and miscellaneous accessory hardware as needed. 2. BODY TO CHASSIS INSTALLATION AT PHIL FACTORY: Factory installation of the PHIL Rear Eject Body to truck chassis is the easiest form of installation.  Installed price includes miscellaneous hoses for a nominal charge per PHIL Rear Eject Body.  Pivot pins and body pads are the responsibility of the purchaser. PHIL Rear Eject Factory Installation Procedures: Purchaser supplies truck/chassis to PHIL factory. Mounting of body to truck chassis. Mounting of hydraulic manifold to truck chassis. Supply and connect plumbing of rear eject body to hydraulic manifold and chassis hydraulic system. Test, validate, and adjust PHIL Rear Eject Body as needed for proper operation. Chassis with Rear Eject Body ships to customer’s preferred location (F.O.B. Peoria, IL). PHIL installer visits end user location for commissioning of unit and installation of O.E.M. body pads and pivot pins. Approximate Installation Time: The approximate time required to install a PHIL Rear Eject Body in the field would be as follows, depending on product and upon the extend field conditions: Standard Capacity Articulated Rear Eject: 20 – 35 man hours +/- HiVol® Refuse Rear Eject: 35 – 45 man hours +/- HiVol Scrap Steel Rear Eject: 35 – 45 man hours +/- HiVol Underground Rear Eject: 20 – 35 man hours +/-
