Sideboards
Recommended to increase volumetric capacity when hauling lightweight material. (Does increase loading height.) Special prices are available for Autogate Tailgate/sideboard packages.

Body Seal
Installed on sides of body to help seal space between the gate, sidearms and body sides. Reduces most fine or fluidic material leakage, +/- ¾”.

Fluidic Seal
Provides a nearly complete seal between the Autogate Tailgate and truck body to haul extremely soupy materials. Uses the body seal components plus additional seal across the bottom gate rear. Recommended when you need more than a body seal to keep your material “in-the-box”.

Rubber Cushion Assembly
Recommended for underground operations and operations with high road speeds and uneven haul roads. Reduces tailgate wear, bouncing and noise. May be installed on an existing gate or purchased with an Autogate Tailgate.


	In most cases, the installation of the tailgate options will be done during the installation of a tailgate. That being said, below is a breakdown of installation hours and expectations: 1. Sideboards Sideboard installations should be done prior to installing a tailgate so the rear of the sideboard does not interfere with the tailgate opening. At times, trimming of sideboards is necessary for proper alignment of the sideboards to the front slope of the body, and for proper tailgate clearance in the rear. Philippi-Hagenbuch, Inc. does offer Installation Supervisory Assistance as an additional service with our sideboards. For more information, please discuss this option with your Account Manager. Regardless of the size of sideboards, the following equipment is required for a sideboard installation: Lifting equipment (capable of lifting up to 3,000 pounds) Welding equipment Hand tools Safe, clean and efficient work area Personnel: (2) welders and (1) helper Approximate installation time per set: 15 – 20 man hours +/- 2. Fluidic Seal Fluidic Seals are only offered as add-on options to PHIL Autogate Tailgates. If purchased at the same time as the tailgate, the additional installation time would be approximately 1 – 2 man hours +/-. If purchased as an aftermarket add on to an existing PHIL Autogate Tailgate, installation times can vary widely from 5+ to 15 +/- man hours. 3. Rubber Cushion Pads Rubber Cushion Pads are only offered as add-on options to PHIL AutogateTailgates. If purchased at the same time as the tailgate, the additional installation time would be approximately 2 – 3 man hours +/-. If purchased as an aftermarket add on to an existing PHIL Autogate Tailgate, installation times can vary widely from 5+ to 15 +/- man hours.
